What You Should Know About Me
If you know me at all, then you know that when I get an idea to start something I want to dive in head first!
This has been the case for everything I set out to do. For example; My photography career truly began when I purchased my very first DSLR. I immediately read and watched every tutorial I could. Bought all sorts of equipment, presets, and software. Always trying to improve myself. Never stopped until I finally found my niche and got my images to look how I always pictured them in my head. Even now, when I finish a shoot and know I have some amazing images on my camera... I just can't wait to get them edited so I can share my excitement with everyone.
When I was younger, if I began a project (other than school work) I wouldn't stop until it was complete. Cleaning my room would be an all-day task. Something as simple as dusting would end up being a total de-clutter.
I have an amazing idea for a photo series right now, and because of timing I, unfortunately, will have to put it on the back burner for a while. I have trips I want to plan! Especially when I see flights for less than $500!! But again that has to be put in the back of my mind since bills and some of the more boring aspects of adulthood come first.
I want to start living in a way that reflects my beliefs. So I decided to start a low impact lifestyle (not "zero waste", we will get into that at some point). If I was diving into this plastic-free way of life, it would end up costing me hundreds of dollars to change everything at once. I have to take it one step at a time, which makes me frustrated but I am still doing what I can.
Then I found myself wanting to blog about personal or random things and I didn't feel it would flow with my photography website. I kept finding excuses not to because I really wasn't sure if anyone would read what I had to say and, as you'll find out, I am not a great writer.
I finally just said... F***K it! Here we are!
I will mostly be posting things I have learned about our environment, my journey of being a new mother, my families adventures and some little random tidbits.
I would love it if you stick around and feel free to send me a message with subjects you think I should write about or just to introduce yourself!
Let's do this!
P.S Check out my Facebook page where I will share some quotes and posts that I find interesting! :)
