We got a chance to spend the whole weekend together which was amazing. We really needed it.
Sawyer was spoiled by her grandmother’s. She received loads of clothes and toys. She got to hang out with her cousins for a while and they had a great time together.
She has been going through a bit of a picky eating stage recently but she ate quite a bit at dinner which was great to see!
It’s been super rainy the last couple of weeks, and it looks like it’s going to be for a while. Saturday it was supposed to rain later in the afternoon so while it was fairly warm out I wanted to get outside and enjoy it.
We took Sawyer to a little woods trail where she could run around and explore. She ran for a full 45 minutes. Back and forth, up and down the hills and kept “ouuu”ing at the waterfalls.
We got back home, and tried to put her down for a nap (which didn’t actually happen). My mom watched her long enough for us to take the dogs out for a walk before the rain was supposed to hit us.
It didn’t! We got back from our walk and took Sawyer back outside to play while we did a couple things outside. Ryan changed the tires on the car and I planted some of the sunflower seeds we received from Cheerios.
It was overall, a really great weekend spent outside enjoying Spring and with our family.
